Another year down. Here's a look back at my 2025.
Career
This year I was promoted to Senior Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase. It's been a journey of growth, tackling complex problems, and shipping products that serve customers at scale.
Working in fintech has taught me a lot about building reliable, secure systems. The intersection of finance and technology is fascinating, and I'm excited to keep pushing forward.
Open Source
I continued contributing to open source projects this year. There's something rewarding about giving back to the community and collaborating with developers around the world.
Open source has been a great way to learn from others, improve my code quality, and stay connected with the broader engineering community.
Learning
2025 was the year I dove deep into AI and LLMs. From understanding transformer architectures to building applications with large language models, it's been an exciting space to explore.
The pace of innovation in AI is incredible. I've been experimenting with different tools and frameworks, and I'm excited to apply what I've learned to real-world problems.
This Site
I finally started writing. This notes site is a place for me to document what I'm learning, share my thoughts on engineering, and build in public.
Writing forces clarity of thought. If I can't explain something simply, I probably don't understand it well enough.
2026 Goals
Looking ahead, here's what I want to focus on:
- Write more - Publish consistently and share what I learn
- Build AI projects - Create tools and applications powered by LLMs
- Career growth - Keep leveling up, take on bigger challenges
Here's to another year of building, learning, and growing.
